Whitchurch Wines is an independent, family-run wine shop dedicated to bringing high-quality, good-value wines to the local community. We also offer a good selection of whisky, other spirits, beers, cider, host regular tasting events, have pop-up wine bars, and cater for private events in our tasting room. Medium bodied Cab from Sonoma, with dark plums and cassis. Velvety tannins. £26.50
Zinfandel blend from Lodi. Smooth and elegant. Fragrant spices and red berries. £15.50.
Syrah, Merlot, Malbec blend, with a touch of Cab. Worth trying due to the name: not as uptight as Utah, but not as loose as Bohdi. £28
Great Alexander Valley Cab. Plush and ripe; think spiced black cherry fruit. £32.
Biale Vineyards Party Line Zinfandel. A big burst of jammy dark fruit, but this has elegance as well. Everything you want from a classy Zin. £39.50.
Oh Paso Robles! Often overlooked, but it really shouldn't be. This is an excellent wine for the money. High class Californian Cab at a fraction of the price of Napa. Well worth trying. £38.50
